A favorite recent read is EXHIBIT by R. O. Kwon. Snappy, luminous prose weaves a story about two sapphic artists—a photographer and a ballet dancer—who meet at a party and disrupt each other's lives. I loved this exploration of kink & Christianity & how Jin chronicled her loss of faith through art.

Writers, please don’t use genAI to create illustrations either. Support human artists. If you like visual prompts, collecting oracle and tarot decks is a fantastic way to combine this support for art into your writing practice.

I'm here again to say this in regard to gen AI in the arts. My issue with LLMs is multi-pronged. It is built off of stolen work. Everytime one uses it, it supports billionaires who want to gain control of the arts and take it from the hands of writers and artists. Also it is killing the planet.
