You could even take ONE specific example for this: Brussel Sprouts. Science literally found a way to engineer away the LOOOOONG standing punchline of "brussel sprouts are disgusting food no one wants to eat" into "here's a hip gastropub appetizer with bacon" in the last 30 years.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

A lot of the Mystery Booster Commander cards look really cool, but I'm super unimpressed by the Rulebreaker stuff. They all feel very clunky and forced - basically doing them for the sake of it rather than because they actually create cool deckbuilding or game play compared to normal cards.

A note on the influencer wording from Logan: Gavin did say the split on the group invites was half creators and half con-goers on his IG reel about the draft. But yeah, there are only 32 drafters worth of these cards in the wild until Festival in a Box: MC Atlanta 2026 Edition gets released/shipped

It's kinda crazy to me that Mystery Booster: Commander Edition doesn't have Prerelease-style events for LGSs to run. Not even talking about scarcity of the new cards, but Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate was such a fun Prerelease environment that it could be replicated locally.

I hate putting my personal stuff out here, but I could use some help. I need to find a roommate for my place. I have a 3 bed 2 bath in Chicago with a free bedroom. I use one room as a studio. The place is 90% furnished. Me and my cat will be the only folks here. Its a big place.
