This one goes into my media training under 'How an interview can fuck things up even more'. The closest thing to clarity is the statement 'Human beings are really good at telling the sex of someone they are talking to' which is unfortunate unless the EHRC is into sex policing by stereotype.

This is worth amplifying (also this podcast is rad), that Roman slavery was, y'know, slavery. In fact, all slavery is horrifying, but the broader 'Mediterranean' slavery tradition (which is also, by the by, the ancestor of Atlantic slavery) is one of the *more extreme* such traditions.

In a videogame roleplay server I'm in they just banned AI and this person flipped out, saying that because of her ADHD she needed it to manage her whole life and it turned out she had even been making her *tiny* game posts with it too! Then she called it her friend. Terrifying shit. She ragequit

Air quality. I grew up in the Los Angeles basin in the 70s and 80s and remember having to stay inside because the smog was so bad - Stage 2 smog alerts, they were called. Apparently they haven't had one of those since 1988. Haven't had a stage one smog alert since 2003.
