There will be a lot of equivocating about all the times search warrants have been executed on members of Congress for corruption investigations and the like, and it can't be stressed enough in how many ways HSI raiding Ilhan Omar is extremely not like that.

2026 Q1 viewership for Jimmy Kimmel Live! was 2.53 million. The Talarico interview currently has 2.9 million views. Good job stopping people from seeing it, FCC.

S. Knutson - I always liked Geography so I was curious to see the names given to the Great Lakes by the First Peoples. Even then, 'Ontario' was part of the name. It was the Laurentide Ice Sheet which was part of the Wisconsin Glaciation that created those lakes.

Graphic slide with a stark cream background and clean dark typography. The headline reads "The Million-Dollar Cage". The body text reads: "It costs taxpayers between $132,000 and $197,000 every single day to run Delaney Hall, New Jersey’s massive private immigration detention center. Right now, between 807 and 905 human beings are locked inside. When public funds turn a profit for a private prison corporation, human suffering becomes a highly lucrative business model."

Students, if you’re thinking about dropping a note to that teacher or professor about what their class/project/mentorship has meant to you, but you worry it will be cringe or cheesy, let me just tell you they will coast on the fuzzy feelings prompted by that note for months, if not years

I decided to build a pickleball court in my backyard. I told my wife (many times!) that neighbors would pick up the tab and it wouldn't cost us a dime. It turns out that we will have to pay for it by taking out a second mortgage or giving up our health insurance. I'm sure she'll be ok with it.
