Started recording and sharing a personal journal style podcast called Trot Talks. Just an opportunity for me to put my free time and focus on a little creative project. Latest episode is a nice walk through a nature park. If you're interested in listening you can find it here: linktr.ee/tedbooth

Landscape photo from a shoreline. In the foreground there is a rocky beach with some green plant life. In the distance there is a wide river, the tide is out so sand banks are visible.

The police didn't see the need to tase this guy and repeatedly kick him in the head, and the media haven't seen the need to make this racially motivated axe and knife attack the top story on all channels with immediate calls for the government to do something about Islamophobia. How odd.

Four people in hospital after knife attacks in Edinburgh. An arrest made. BBC report say man shouted about "protecting the country". Sone signs the attacks near a mosque at petrol station & pizzeria may have had anti-Muslim or anti-migrant/minority motives (tbc) www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

This is what a pogrom looks like: men in masks coming to drive you from your home. This is a collective failure of our political and media class because we did not have the courage to say no, and because too many were allowed to embrace this without shame

#BBCBreakfast: "... families had to be led to safety through the flames.. it wasn't just homes, cars were also torched by young masked men in these predominantly unionist streets, but the target here was immigrants.." This is what the likes of Reform are inciting.

Not to be dramatic but I've sobbed everyday I've been back in the UK. Don't even miss America as a place really, just extremely depressed to be back to reality and unemployed without the good friends I've made over the last 5 months.

Yesterday in Hastings, in the wake of antisemitic attacks in Golders Green, I faced Nazi salutes. Today the Prime Minister uses his office to attack the only Jewish party leader to score political points.

BREAKING: Keir Starmer says Zack Polanski's repost criticising the officers who arrested the terror suspect is "disgraceful" "I think it’s disgraceful… He’s not fit to lead any political party"

Isn't it funny how British journalists can do this kind of analysis of what time of day Zack Polanski likes tweets, but totally missed Peter Mandelson defrauding the public for years until the Americans accidentally dropped him in it.

I’ve been hearing so much anger and disappointment from frontline workers about the BBC investigation into fraudulent asylum claims. One of the most damning responses has come from one of the experts they interviewed, solicitor Ana Gonzalez. It’s really worth reading her response in full:

It's time to end the failed and deeply damaging ‘war on drugs’. Scotland needs an evidence-based approach to drugs that prioritises public health and public safety, not more criminalisation.

It's time for change. Legalise cannabis.

Scottish Green co-leader Gillian Mackay is standout contributor on Channel4 News' Scots leaders’ debate. Like Ross Greer in BBC debate her stance is crystal clear - opposing North Sea drilling, calling for wealth Tax & slamming Malcolm Offord who claims Glasgow is a ‘dumping ground’ for refugees.

What is clear from the established unionist parties is that they're anti-democracy. They only support democracy when it suits them. It is a travesty that whether or not Scotland can hold a referendum on its own future is at the behest of people like Wes Streeting and Keir Starmer.

LBC@lbc.co.uk · 4mo ago

"The country's had enough of chaos!" Wes Streeting rules out Scottish independence, telling @lewisgoodall.com that there will be no fresh referendum even if the SNP get a majority.

Is it any wonder our media ecosystem is such a mess? The guy in charge of the supposedly impartial watchdog is slagging off the BBC to the right wing Telegraph - which is hostile to the BBC - & defending the fact his organisation has let GB News act share misinformation and constantly promote Reform

An absolutely deranged conspiracy theory, here. Get ready to hear it over and over again, both at full xenomorph-blood strength and as a watered down but still highly corrosive version.

"The reason they hate Zack Polanski is that they can't Corbynize him because he is a Jewish politician who criticizes Israel."
Mehdi Hasan is right: that is exactly why the islamists have co-opted Polanski's Greens as their lightening rod (& Trojan Horse).
They know he provides an effective camouflage. And they know he is sufficiently craven and opportunistic to indulge them.
That is why today we see 'Greens' madly lining up to defend a regime that tortures and kills young girls for showing their hair or dancing, executes gays, worships death over life, and murders tens of thousands of young people simply for disagreeing with them.
Did anyone notice the new Green MP's Maiden speech to Parliament had nothing to do with the environment? Or that only 5% or so of the motions currently being debated by Green Members have anything to do with the environment?
