So far the war on Iran has cost $9.4 billion. That's $1 billion per day. $41,666,667 per hour. $11,574 per second. Thousands of lives lost. People don't want this. They want a living wage. They want healthcare. They want to be able to afford a home. They want their basic needs met.

A mentee of mine has $$ to spend on training and/or writing retreats before May 2026. They would benefit from clinical trials, stats for early efficacy trials, qualitative analyses, CBPR and/or writing retreats for people from/studying minoritized groups. Thoughts? #WomenInSTEM #AcademicSky

When someone says „Scientists do not want you to know“ you can dismiss everything from there on. Scientists want you to know. They are desperate that you know. They can’t shut up about what they found out and want you to know.

The US/Israeli illegal attack on Iran should be understood to be a clear violation of the Olympic Truce (much as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was which led to its suspension by the IOC) and result in bans for 2028 and the stripping of those Games from LA. apnews.com/article/olym...
