A billion dollars is the socio-economic equivalent of a loose nuke, and we should work with the same urgency and ruthlessness to prevent the acquisition of the former as we do the latter.

Courtney Milan@courtneymilan.com · 2w agoHonestly, half of those texts ARE scams. They're scam PACs that use scam tactics to get people to react, and you have no idea how that PAC is going to spend its money, who it's paying, etc etc.

Funny to see this two posts down from a share of a Mamdani post. There's big structural things to fix but this imagined program isn't just "eat your vegetables" it's all celery, insufficient. 1) Break SCOTUS 2) Hose the rich and tax wealth 3) Deliver public goods in daily life & bbe loud about it.
