Always delighted to win when we play "badly", we looked to click only for those goals, we could have scored 5 today and we didn't get out of 2nd gear, imagine when we hit full stride.

Still love Arsene Wenger, but now Arteta too. Philosophy, Politics & Love.
I remember when they were so xenophobic against us in the early 2000s about not having English players, are they going the opposite way now? We have more English outfield players than most PL teams lol
Arsenal have named as many as six English outfield players (White, Konsa, Lewis-Skelly, Rice, Saka, Madueke) in a starting lineup for a Premier League game for the first time since February 1999 against Man Utd (Dixon, Winterburn, Bould, Adams, Parlour, Hughes). (Opta)

Lol man, living in Taipei makes me feel like I'm hours ahead or behind of everything, haven't felt like this since I lived in Shanghai or HK. Hope it's better for my health.
AI will have major breakthroughs for mankind, but in a place where mankind is already hellbent on destroying itself through Billionaire suffocation, it probably means only they will enjoy those breakthroughs first and the most.
I'm being forced to use AI at work, it makes life easier but lifeless and I feel it's disconnecting people from working together as they rely on tools and are still in a shame phase of usage.
Absolutely bizarre that the whole overall premise option that's being offered by AI Giants is: Would you kill 14 year olds, tied via fibre optic cables on the train tracks to save a train full of rich adults, you must or else you're in the way of progress Mr Strawman.

The strangest thing about the 2020's is how everyone wants you to Co-exist and accept criminals and corruption as a normal part of life. It's something you get over, not something you fight.
I've seen a lot of ex-player/pundits say they don't think clubs who finished 2nd should be awarded the PL trophies, but this may be the wrong approach. Arteta's Arsenal finished 2nd 3/5 seasons and a clear 2nd at that, we would definitely have won the league if Man City were not doping, it's a fact.

I've heard people make claims that AI would lead to a new Renaissance, but I didn't imagine it'd happen like this:
From Etihad's "RESPONSE TO CLAIMS RAISED ABOUT STATE-OWNED AIRLINES" filed with the US gov. in 2015. "The assertion that the Abu Dhabi government paid for Etihad’s sponsorship of English Premier League football club Manchester City is [...] false".

Imagine the game kicks off at Anfield but all the Liverpool players just stand still & refuse to engage in any way. The impact of that around the world would be astronomical. I would genuinely stand up & applaud.
Personally think everyone should refuse to play them but failing that, fans in attendance should simply turn their backs. There has to be a show of sacrifice & solidarity for the message to really be heard.
Thinking ahead, find it pretty depressing that it’ll almost certainly be record viewing figures in every game they play which only adds weight to the argument for sponsors & broadcasters wanting them in the PL but for all the wrong reasons.
This is just further proof of the bent nature of the sponsorships. No regular sponsor would threaten to sue the Prem for the reputational damage of a report they arent even named in. They would just cut ties with the club www.theguardian.com/football/202...
We have the best supporter-writers. The absolute best. Lewis knocks this one out of the park (as Tom and Tim and Blogs and many others have done elsewhere) on the City fiasco.

The "think of the jobs and investment we'd lose" argument for City really breaks down when you use it in other contexts. Apply it to dictatorships. Nope. Crony capitalism? Nah. Illegal drug dealers? Nyet. Hmm... seems like it doesn't apply at all when the underlying feature is corruption & crime.

This is a must read, it bleakely reminds me of Arsene, spending so many years fighting and unable to match City for players, losing his own, to be ridiculed and called cheap & a dithererer, when so many players he bid for, City and Chelsea just offered way more & inflated market further every year.
