Once Mitch McConnell dies can we start hounding Josh Shapiro to get him to make John Fetterman prove he’s fit to serve in the senate too???
One thing I missed about all this platner stuff is that this asshole also recruited Nathan Sage here in Iowa and then ghosted him when Platner took off. Honestly can’t think of a better metaphor for Iowa’s place in national politics than this:

it will be so great when Dems come up one vote short in the senate because Hillary Clinton campaigns for Mike Rogers and then have them turn around and say "elections have consequences" and "don't boo, vote" when Trump starts doing drone strikes along the Mexican border

If person A “feels indicted” because person B makes a factual statement about a materially real indictment leveled against person C by person D, that seems like it’s something person A can either deal with internally or sort out with persons C and D. Don’t see much of a role for person B to play.
Joel S.@joelhs.bsky.social · 2w agoIt’s embarrassing that the rabbi of Central Synagogue - one of the most prominent Reform rabbis in the US - is portraying Mamdani’s accurate description of Netanyahu as a war criminal as a sign of antisemitism. This is part of why young people take antisemitism less seriously than they should.
This is so horrific. That poor cannibal should not be forced to live in a cell next to Andrew Tate.
