Some of the 300+ people who showed up today to show support for one of the best pieces of bike infrastructure in DC. They shouted in megaphones, honked horns, rang bells, and called out from both front and rear seats of cargo bikes, with voices in all registers. This isn't over.

I was involved in early planning for this segment, and if this comes to pass, I’m gonna really be depressed. 2026 has chosen both large-scale and extremely-targeted ways to ruin everything.

Apart from the rest of the mayhem they have wrought, this administration is some of the most joyless, unimaginative ghouls ever to hold office.
From an unofficial DDOT source, this starts Monday. Great timing for cherry blossom crowds.
