If AES loses the general election, it doesnt just free up Trump to destroy the Supreme Court. It will validate every electability argument the mods make against the progs for a generation. The real battle has only just begun.

This New York Times article, which ran a week before Christmas last year, didn’t get the attention it deserved. It detailed Trump and Epstein's predatory behavior toward women – “a game of ego and dominance” in which “female bodies were currency.” Here’s a gift link and a thread. 1/6🧵
‘Don’s Best Friend’: How Epstein and Trump Bonded Over the Pursuit of Women (Gift Article)
The president has tried to minimize their friendship, but documents and interviews reveal an intense and complicated relationship. Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were cur...

The reflecting pool saga is interesting because it crystallizes how capricious fascism is: Making stuff up (ie lying), criminalizing people, and acting with impunity.
Ad over at the hellsite. Why is it Permain Basin? Should be Permian Basin.
Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted this video of the Oval Office and it somehow looks even more embarrassing than I realized

"When six justices walk away from those they are supposed to protect, state constitutions hold the line. That is not defiance. That is the design." The Supreme Court's credibility is starting to run dry with state courts.
This state supreme court opinion pulls no punches: “This court does not anchor Hawaiʻi’s due process rights to the federal floor. Especially one that keeps sinking. . . . State constitutionalism makes it easy to consider Roberts Court jurisprudence ‘white noise.’”
The epic investigation in the New Yorker by Heidi Blake seems to have lit a fire under UK criminal justice bureaucrats, who'd messed up last time they had a chance to prosecute the Tates (including some pretty horrendous victim blaming Blake recounts). Journalism matters for justice.

Please read this book. An essential American parable about how we sell our entire selves to the most charismatic of con men. I'll never forget the ending of this book, and deeply want to see a film audience grapple with it.
Hope I'll see this finally get to the screen in my lifetime.
The fact that it is now impossible to remove a complete lunatic from the most powerful position in the world is a clear sign that our constitution has failed. The genius of our founders is very overrated
