I was told you couldn't do 3D on the Playdate, so I did it. Then I was told there was no way I could create exterior levels like those in Mirror's Edge, so I proved them wrong again.

It's going to be fun to play with the Unity CLI and make a number of our existing automations simpler, but it's definitely beta. I imagine this makes the barely released mcp kind of obsolete, but who knows. Unity 7 is like CoreCLR and some stuff, but will be welcome.

Don Iwerks, the Disney legend who spearheaded various camera and projection systems for the company’s parks and films, has died. He was 96.

RIP Wally Funk (1939-2026), one of the Mercury 13 (which inspired For All Mankind) Also: "In July 2021. Funk became the oldest woman to travel to space at the age of 82. During the 11-minute flight, Funk experienced a few moments of weightlessness and marveled at the darkness of space."

Wishing all the best to the thousand+ people who have been cut off from (re)building the Xbox platform and studios that so many of us loved once. And to those who stay with a sword dangling over their heads, be safe and sane, take care of each other, and hope for a brighter future.
