The way that it is September and I've not even gotten to 100 reads! This is the slowest reading year I've had in ages!! So many dnf books. Some just because I wasn't in the mood, some cause they were just not good. Someone needs to slap me like Cher and tell me to snap outta it!
On this Labor Day I'm laboring in the kitchen attempting my first sourdough inclusion loaf (apple cinnamon). I had enough discard left, I decided to make chocolate chip scones. This is the most I've done of anything in a week! LOL

My god. Everything is not a distraction from the Epstein files. They LIKE doing a fascism. The whole “exerting their power over the powerless“ thing comes from the same root. They are assholes in a large number of ways, and the Epstein files are one of those ways.

Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of my dear friend Satan, the Prince of Lies. Though we often disagreed about matters such as the appropriate role of torture in the afterlife, I will most remember how his quick wit and affable nature made our weekly golf outings a ritual. He will be missed.

My mom would have been 90 today and fuck I miss her. This time of year is always rough because she was her sickest in July and August. The things she's missed that she would have loved so much and the way I'd love to see her smile again. Fuck cancer.
