when i was 13, i tried Halo 2 for the first time. i couldn’t stay alive longer than 2 mins. i cried and eventually gave up. found out later the difficulty was set to LEGENDARY getting my ADHD diagnosis felt similar. “oh. i’m not a failure. it’s not supposed to be this hard”

⚠️PSA ABOUT SCAMMERS There's been an uptick in impersonators who target users with easily swappable handles (i's for l's, o's for 0's, varying repeated letters, etc) They will always 1) block the original artist 2) target users who have replied with interest, either thru QRPs, replies, or DMs (+)

AI is a scourge. But it is important not to trust "AI detectors". I lost regular freelancing work because my client insisted I used AI to write copy (I didn't, but their AI detecting software said I did). This is a great thread with an excellent example of why these detectors cannot be trusted.
