News about the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart is devastating. Hearing that his final days included Lewy Body Dementia is even harder. Thinking of Robin Williams, and also my Nonna, whose last few years were occasionally *godawful.* Genetically, it's likely in my future, too. Complicated grief.

I love what Cory Doctorow wrote in one of his newsletters. Something like: "'We used AI to do this' is basically shorthand for 'we didn't want to do this in the first place'"

Just a little PSA- Neil Gaiman has reactivated his Bluesky account. Because he deactivated before a lot of people could unfollow him, and/or because Bluesky doesn’t remove you from a person’s followers when you block them, a LOT of you are still publicly listed as following him. You should check.
