John Walton@thatjohn.bsky.social · 2d agoThe UK CAA's annual accessibility report is out. 19 airports are rated "very good". 9 are "good". None are "needs improvement" or "poor". The biggest takeaway from this report is that, whatever the CAA criteria are, they're totally divorced from the reality of travellers needing assistance.
On Friday, the FAA and Boeing held the type certificate board meeting to finalize the regulator’s approval of the 737 Max 7. This morning it became official. A milestone 15 years in the making.

I recognize it is gauche in Seattle to enjoy Seafair and I’m gonna be drawn and quartered for admitting it but I LOVE the Blue Angels show and watching from my roof every year is a highlight of the summer.

If we can’t see anything we go around. This altitude can be referred to as “minimums”.
