The UK CAA's annual accessibility report is out. 19 airports are rated "very good". 9 are "good". None are "needs improvement" or "poor". The biggest takeaway from this report is that, whatever the CAA criteria are, they're totally divorced from the reality of travellers needing assistance.
On Friday, the FAA and Boeing held the type certificate board meeting to finalize the regulator’s approval of the 737 Max 7. This morning it became official. A milestone 15 years in the making.

Super enjoyed watching the female stunt pilot, Melissa Burns, do AMAZING things at Seafair (Seattle, yesterday thru Sun) while inspiring young women to pursue their dream of becoming a pilot. 🥹🥰😍🤩🛩️
I recognize it is gauche in Seattle to enjoy Seafair and I’m gonna be drawn and quartered for admitting it but I LOVE the Blue Angels show and watching from my roof every year is a highlight of the summer.
When my husband and I were first married 19 years ago, every October for our anniversary we’d go somewhere in the US or Canada we hadn’t been. Chicago, Seattle, Richmond, Maine, Montreal, Toronto. Then our trips got bigger. London. Rome. Paris. And then life got in the way. (1/2)

Some morning wanderings in London the last few days…
For six years, a hulking, green Boeing 777-9 airframe sat dormant at an airfield north of Seattle, weighted blocks dangling from its wings in place of engines and black covers over missing fairings and open panels. In 2025, the jet quietly disappeared.

Great thread about go arounds
Short #avgeek 🧵 So, a simplified version… Most of the time, when we approach to land there’s a certain altitude at which we have to have visual contact with the ground in order to continue the approach. If we can’t see anything we go around. This altitude can be referred to as “minimums”.
