I work at the intersection of the climate and biodiversity crises, so I especially value actions that support adaptation and mitigation AND conservation, e.g.,: Expanding urban tree canopy, green roofs, rain gardens, etc. to mitigate heat and flooding, sequester carbon, and provide habitat.

I really appreciate this stance. Too many people try to use "but it's useful" as a counterargument to what we say, for example, in The AI Con. Useful for whom and at what cost (to the user and especially others) should always be the immediate follow up.
