Great event. But the pre-Massacare X-Men team (with Magneto and Rachel (before she wandered off into the park)) should have had more time.

#EventsDearBoy 3. MUTANT MASSACRE (1986, Marvel) Apparently one of Jonathan Hickman's ideas when he revamped the X-Men was 'give them some wins'. Wherever could the idea that the X-Men are constantly losing have come from, I wonder? Perhaps this first mutant event will shed some light!

#RiversDemoFlood 1981: dictadroid5_2014_11_13_14_31_31 1 November 13, 2014 From the White Year Rivers spends this 17 second clip singing and making vocalizations over some prerecorded music. The one lyric that I can make out is 'living in the shadows, never have to talk to no one else.' ⭐

100 percent this. It's an overblown complaint. When I was little, before I knew they were from comics, Spider-Man and Hulk were the only two super heroes I knew, because of the Electric Company and the Bixby/Ferrigno show. So yeah, I'm going to want to see these two meet.

I actually hate the push to make Marvel movies not have cameos or crossovers. I -like- that they exist within the same universe, and Spider-man can actually turn to characters like Bruce Banner when he has a scientific question. That's exactly like the comics I read growing up. 👍

#RiversDemoFlood 1980: Exonerate Me 4 2011-2014 From EWBAITE Exonerate Me is a catchy as hell song. And if you can spell exonerate, you can sing along to the chorus. It's a good song and worthy of attention. But up against the stronger material from this time, it's easy to see why this song...

If you're a cis person insisting that the prospect of trans children playing youth sports is not only "a problem" but in fact one of the biggest problems we currently face as a nation, I'd be happy to introduce you to literally a million other things that should be worrying you more.

The more I hear about Maximum X-Men, the more I'm looking forward to it. And not just because Colossus is involved. And why can't the X-Men do what the Avengers do? They're just as powerful, but without all the stupid by-laws.

Using lists of three is not an "AI tell." It's a common trait in human writing because our brains biologically want to make sure there's always one thing to marry, one thing to fuck, and one thing to murder.

#RiversDemoFlood 1978: every day you walk in a straight line 2015 From the White Year This early version of The Crazy Impossible Days could be considered a full song. But the vocals are all vocalizations. Few actual words or lyrics were used in the making of this song. Still, Rivers nails...

I always find the list of virtues(?) above the stage at Cincinnati's Memorial Hall amusing. Sure, Unity, Wisdom, Patriotism, Philanthropy, Integrity, Equity, and Will are good (at least when used in the right way). But 'Manliness'? 'Martyrdom?' This needs an update.
