A friend has requested I gift him a tarot deck. But which deck? He's a high level developer, very analytical, a gamer, and a fan of sci-fi and fantasy. It should be a somewhat serious deck, not a gimmick deck, and a good one for a beginner to do readings. Classic Rider-Waite-Smith is on the table.
So many important life moments start with “what do you want and need?” But answering this question is the hardest process and can take years of work, besides constantly changing.

my brother & his partner are telling me an insane story about this local deity called "st. rat" which is apparently a mosaic relief put up by some queers in seattle. the city kept trying to paint over it, but people would repeatedly just use acetone and remove the paint until the city gave up

I’m so happy with how the glaze came out on my coelacanth dish! I was afraid I’d made a mess of it and it would be a disaster but it came out better than I hoped. I want to make more large fish dishes!
In 2003 I learned how to read the Daedric alphabet from The Elder Scrolls by having this map, which came packaged with Morrowind, laid out on my bedroom floor and decoding which letter matched to each on the placenames dotted around the island. I would not have done so with a link to a pdf.
