This is something I see all the time with regards to people making AI flyers for things like casting calls. It makes me question their entire entire “creative process” when they’ve already shown they’ll contract at least a parcel of that to the Planet-Killing-Brain-Sludge-O-Matic 3000

people who use ai rarely just use it for one thing. it’s about making them feel too dumb or lazy to do anything. sure, they may fact check it at first, but when it becomes normalized to them, they inevitably don’t want to bother—that’d defeat the purpose of the quick and easy no think machine!

I love how people like this will do anything but admit to the fact that gen ai is just inherently a bad harmful thing with no worth. “Eating human feces isn’t the problem, it just that my relationship to it is unhealthy and needs work-“ OH MY GOD JUST STOP EATING SHIT

regarding a certain color-named youtuber, he’s been fairly public about dabbling in this stuff since the getgo. he was making ai cat images back on twitter and has definitely been happy to casually drop references to chatgpt on his podcast. i’m surprised it took so long for folks to notice.

Day 2 success!! Step counter record high: 16,120 🤪 I worked a great shift at the ginny di booth, did some shopping, played some hot games the HGR, and saw ah utterly delightful cosplay cabaret show! Also remembered to grab a pic with @toughtink.bsky.social !!

Can confirm, my monthly earnings have been wildly unpredictable for a number of reasons recently, but I suspect this is a contributor. If you signed up on the iOS app, I’d encourage you to do it on a desktop browser instead.

Apple charges people ~20% more than the Patreon list price and they keep the difference for themselves. They also hold the proceeds of iOS app sales for 75 days, making it impossible for creators to accurately predict earnings. They basically inserted themselves in order to rip *more* people off

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. okay yall. packing for gencon, i can maybe bring ONE ☝️ cosplay. which should it be?? my gut says CR characters. fearne is my fave costume, but the wig takes up a lot of space and is kind of a pain. are non-ttrpg charas too random for gencon?
