If we do not start to differentiate properly, many profoundly disabled people with ADHD (and/or autism) are going to be thrown under the bus as the backlash grows against these labels, in part as a result of them including so many relatively mild cases.

I will not apologize for medicine and the conservative community I grew up in being unprepared to help me in the early 2000s. I will not apologize for advances in diagnostics and treatment giving me options and a deeper personal understanding instead of self-hatred. (2/4)
