In the Green Party any member can propose a policy - it's part of our constitution & the rest of the membership decide to debate it or not. When the media present that as the Green Party "proposing" a policy they're misleading you - worth asking why the billionaire press constantly attack us.
In today's @yorkshirepost.co.uk 📰: Vice Chair @jazz072.bsky.social makes clear that, even after #Brexit, the UK can't afford to ignore #EU rules & regulations. "Rather than 'take back control', Brexit has robbed us of our influence and seat at the decision-making table." #RejoinEU

Night night sweet dreamies Today has been one of those days that reminds you just how much goodness there is in the world Kindness, generosity and thoughtfulness may seem like small things, but to someone who needs them, they can mean absolutely everything.
This: “It would be even better if the council bought them as social housing & rented them out, seeing as they're empty.” Quite! Presume “the Council” lacks ability to finance purchase, despite assets gained paying for themselves in long run. Economics of the madhouse we’ve put up with since 1980.

I think we still underplay how much this has to do with X. It remains the main platform used by politicians, commentators and journalists, it was bought by Musk precisely for this purpose, and it's worked
I know it’s not very cool and I-told-you-so of me, but I never thought we’d see this level of open racism in the dead mainstream of the UK in my lifetime. Of course we were aware of The Warning From History and stuff, but it’s so jarring to see it unfold.
Food companies wanted deregulation. Now there are dozens of recalls across the country. Mining companies wanted deregulation. Now the black lung rate is at a 45-year high. Financial companies wanted deregulation. Now financial losses to fraud are the highest on record. Noticing a pattern?
I was on a date with a very nice looking guy. He was mean and nasty to the nerdy waiter who was serving us, obviously thinking it would make me laugh or something. I didn't laugh. I dumped him at the table and ghosted him. Been married to that nice, nerdy waiter for 6 years now.
It seems that those taking the British Citizenship test should be advised to prepare by tuning into TalkingPictures TV.
