You know if you told me a year ago that I bought short shorts and a sleeveless hoodie crop top that has BEEF across the front - I wouldn’t have believed you then but if you told me I plan on wearing them to the pride parade this week I extra wouldn’t have believed you And yet here I am

God i appreciate the account activity labeler so much It makes blocking new follows I do not want so goddamn easy When I see shit like this plus some obscenely high number next to follows it tells me very thing I need to know

An assortment of labels from the account activity tracker labeler. The first one says ‘Unfollowed 100+ yesterday’. The second one says ‘Unfollowed 1000+ in the last month’. The third one says ‘No break greater than 4 hrs yesterday’ and the last one says ‘Posted the same url 15+ times yesterday’. All of these together coupled with an absurdly high follower count implies to me that this person is trying hard to farm engagement and just followed me to try and get me to indulge the natural human impulse to follow them back which - absolutely not.

I swear every single time I hear about what gross ‘wellness’ shit conservative men in the government are doing its a spiritual journey for me Only it’s a journey to fifth avenue in NYC at the height of summer on garbage day right after the sun has risen and had a chance to warm up those bags

I’m kind of doing great. So some of the major changes I made are just being willing to be vulnerable with the people around me so when my brain starts not cooperating I don’t get shoved into a meltdown tailspin

That's what taxes are, man. That's the definition of taxes. "You are subsidizing things you might never use" man shut the fuck up. My taxes currently subsidize like oil company exec private jets, you think I'm upset at low-income people eating inexpensive bananas?

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

Lovemaxxing. Joypilled. I love being queer, I love queer people, I love the communities of many shades of love we all create together. There is truly no more beautiful thing in existence than our capacity as living beings to care for one another.

This is the problem I have with a lot of these people. If redemption isn’t immediate it doesn’t exist or isn’t possible No. Real, meaningful change takes time and taking away all routes of comfort to leave them in a vacuum with their own actions is just removing distractions they don’t need.

Many say this leaves no path to redemption; I will note that paths to redemption exist, but they are for the offender to walk, not for others to deem it walked on their behalf. And a Nazi isn't walking a path of redemption if they remain in the Nazi party. Nothing stopping them. Path open.

Honestly this is kind of interesting and makes sense One of the biggest things I learned in the field is to very much do not this because trust me when I say the user doesn’t give a fuck about your architecture no matter how important it is to you

Bluesky often seems like a project run by tech people who place great value on its architectural differences from Twitter, which nobody cares about, while not understanding how they walked ass-backwards into having a userbase (whomst they fear and despise)
