The first rule of Trans Fight Club is you can discard your opening hand to redraw a new hand of seven and place cards to the bottom of the library in any order equal to the number of mulligans you've taken

Last year I tried to make it a goal to see more live theater, and I did, saw a number of shows. Tickets floated between $80-$140 for what I could reasonably justify. This year, tickets are now around $200-$450 That's insane. I love theater, but I'm out.

Thinking of going hunting in the woods later and stumbling on the Goddess Athena bathing, having her tell me that no men are permitted to see her naked and telling her there's two ways to solve that and I'm good with either

Every time I see an American claim that trans people kill their own support, I think about how in the UK, self ID polled majority support until the media attacked it. When Labour accepted self ID should die, we were told to let them win, it would get better. Now we have a bathroom ban. Fuck you.

They apparently took all of the wrong lessons from the wildly successful gay rights movement, choosing to be as alienating as possible. I won't be surprised if it ends up like abortion and 20 years from now public opinion is effectively frozen on the issue somewhere around 50/50.

lol liberals don't realize how much they've adopted nationalism and how much minorities have adopted nationalism in turn. everyone's quickly going to do a "if we burn you burn with us" attitude unless people get this shit together and have a damn spine to attack the right wing directly

stages of demographic dismissal: 1. minority votes in massive %s for your party 2. rival party attacks them directly to break this 3. party concedes to rival party to try and get rival party supporters 4. minority % support lowers 5. party labels the minority extremists or a cult to blame minority

I have to say that despite the pile on, I’m heartened. There are a lot of people coming out now and saying they will not support the worst anti-trans Dems who call us “biological men” and who advocate for laws targeting us. More than I thought. I hope the consultant class feels a little fear.

I’m a Texan trans kid who almost died because of Ken Paxton. The world should know what he’s done. This was very difficult for me to write, but given what's at stake, I cannot bear to stay silent about what I went through at Paxton's hands. He must not be rewarded for what he's done to trans kids.

Regardless of Talarico’s recent statements on trans people, Paxton cannot be rewarded for the extreme suffering he’s inflicted on me and tens of thousands of Texan trans kids.

Gay marriage was a new right that we lgbtq people were fighting for back then. Trans healthcare, sports, gender marker changes, etc have been around for years, decades in some instances. This is like a dem coming out NOW and opposing gay marriage in 2026.

The thing liberals fundamentally don't understand is that trans people are losing rights they already had. We're not asking for more, we're asking not to lose what we already had for decades. Most sports leagues and the Olympics had inclusion criteria for decades without issue.

Screenshot of an X (formerly Twitter) exchange discussing political pragmatism and the Overton window.
The initial post by onion person (@CantEverDie) reads:
> "doesn't matter, this is about what the right is able to push with the overton window. first its democrats needing to disavow trans women in sports to get elected, next it'll be agreeing to ban access to HRT to get elected. we've seen how this plays out"
>
A reply from Nick Pappas (@NickAPappas) reads:
> "Are you insane? The Overton window didn’t even include this discussion until recently. The public has never been in favor of desegregating the sports by sex.
> Personally I’m glad Barack Obama ran against gay marriage in 2008. Not because that was the right position, or one he even actually held, but because he knew the public wasn’t with him on it. If he hadn’t won he wouldn’t have been able to appoint 2 of the justices who ultimately voted in the majority for Obergefell.
> Lincoln in 1860 didn’t even run on abolishing slavery! He just wanted to stop its expansion. And thankfully he did that and won because a more extreme and morally correct position would have lost. As a result he was able to win the Civil War and push through the 13 amendment.
> Political practicality is the entire history of progress in America. There’s no other way."

I will never vote for a Democrat that abandons transgender people. It's a cancer and I'll take the pain of a Republican over losing Democrats as a party and therefore losing our rights for an entire generation with nobody left to fight for us. We cannot reward this at all.

Iowa Democratic Governor Candidate Rob Sand becomes the latest to throw transgender people under the bus. In an interview this weekend, he told Politico that "girls sports are for girls," decrying Democrats for being too caught up in "culture war" issues. Subscribe to support our journalism.

Trans people: they're trying to genocide us Republicans: we're trying to genocide trans people Historians: they're trying to genocide trans people Genocide Prevention Groups: they're trying to genocide trans people Liberals: well hold on maybe it's a good genocide though

Natalie's recent video on Liberalism had one of the most scathing burns I've seen in a minute. Got a lot of thoughts surrounding her thoughts on the topic and I'm sure this is applicable to every communist out there, but it's a salient rebuke of keyboard activists.
