Wow the conversion exception for healthcare providers is a MILE wide. Overt & explicit conversion against trans & gay people is FINE & not a conversion practice, i) when conducted by a healthcare provider ii) so long as doesn't 'fall far below the standards reasonably expected in their profession'

Draft bill on conversion practices is out. Lots of loopholes in it www.gov.uk/government/publications/draft-conversion-practices-bill/conversion-practices-draft-bill

Today marks the start of Pride month. However, we are Proud of being ourselves every single day. No amount of legislation will change that. Keep being YOU and let's call out all the people and organisations pinkwashing this month when they don't support us all year long.

A vibrant Pride-themed promotional graphic for Trans Radio UK. The left side shows a microphone, colourful sound waves, and musical notes. The background features a rainbow gradient. The text reads: “Trans Radio UK – Pride Month – Loud. Proud. On Air. Celebrating our community, our voices and our stories – www.transradiouk.com.”

Did you see this??? An entire 50 PERCENT of Democratic voters under 30 want the party to MOVE TO THE LEFT on transgender issues. Comparing with other issues polled, it's second only to healthcare as an issue younger voters want to see the party move left on.

We need to start getting trans people and allies together to start planning civil disobedience in different local areas, targeting venues/organisations that operate a trans-exclusionary policy. Civil disobedience needs to be thought out carefully to achieve maximum effectiveness.

Juliet Jacques on Labour's Section 28: "Civil disobedience and trans organisation will flush this contemptible code down the toilet of history, and we can push for a full inquiry into how the EHRC became captured by transphobic fanatics and ask how we can safeguard such bodies [...] in future."

The 'panic' around Lia Thomas was about creating a target people could point at while demanding exclusion. So much of what people “know” about Lia comes from manufactured outrage and years of misinformation repeated without context. We commissioned this comic to break down the actual story. 1/2

Cartoon of Lia Thomas with purple hair, smiling and holding a trophy, making a peace sign. Background features a trans flag and text about sports inclusivity.A swimmer in the water with text overlay: "Lia's college swimming career began in 2017. Aged 18, she joined the University of Pennsylvania men's swimming team. Like most young athletes, her performances improved with age and experience."Swimmer's in the water with text overlay: "Her overall best US ranking in the men's competition was 11th after placing 1st and 2nd in several events, including the 200 and 500 yard freestyle between 2017 and 2019."A swimmer looking at the water in a red swimming costume and bathing cap, with a text overlay: "In 2019 she started HRT as part of her transition. Her performances dropped dramatically. She ranked 65th in the 500 yard free and 554th in the 200 yard free. Overall her US ranking dropped to 63rd."

I'm one of the signatories to this letter. We note that NHS England's ban on hormone therapy by under-18 was proposed: ● without any clear rationale, ● on the basis of a methodologically-flawed process, ● in the absence of peer review, ● and without plans for monitoring impact or mitigating harm

I have been asked to share this Emergency Trans Demo – 11am, 23 May 2026 – Parliament Square, London. Trans rights are under attack. Trans inclusion isn’t discrimination. Bring your banners and flags!

Today is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia & Transphobia. This year’s theme, No matter where we live, who we are, or the faiths that drive us, most people want to nurture neighbourhoods and communities where every life can flourish. #IDAHOBIT

A hand tightly grips a rainbow ribbon that twists upward and outward against a light gray background. Text on the image reads: “May 17th – International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia, Biphobia.” A logo for “Trans Radio UK” appears in the top left, with the website address along the bottom.

We have been approached by Tre Owen to share: Call for Participants - Football Fans of a Men's Professional Club in England or Wales ⚽️🏳️‍⚧️ Hi everyone, I am a PhD researcher looking into the experience of trans people who follow a men's professional football club in England or Wales.

“A recruitment poster from Manchester Metropolitan University seeking participants for a research study about the experiences of trans football fans. The poster features the university logo at the top, followed by a large heading stating ‘Participants Needed for Research Study on the Experience of Trans Football Fans.’ Below, there is text inviting people who identify as trans and support a men’s professional football team in England to participate. Eligibility requirements are listed, including being 18 or older, identifying as transgender, and being a fan of a men’s professional football team based in England or Wales. The poster explains that participation involves a one‑on‑one interview lasting 60 to 90 minutes, conducted via Microsoft Teams or by phone. On the right side, there is a large QR code labeled ‘Scan QR Code to Sign Up.’ At the bottom, researcher contact details for Tre Owen are provided. The design uses pastel blue and pink accents reminiscent of the transgender pride flag.”

"Hate crime and hate speech on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity, and sex characteristics are prohibited in [...] and the UK." Not in practice, they aren't.🙄 You can pretty much impugn trans folk here with impunity, from UKgov down to the public.😡 Some even get paid for doing it.🙄
