There is a player on the LA Queens, Brittany Apgar, who has a limb difference and traveled back to Illinois from receiving her first ever batting prosthetic *today* and is 3-for-3 in her first game playing with one. Incredibly cool.

"Sophie Cunningham said Wednesday that she wants the focus to return to basketball after her comments on transgender athletes" Must be nice, to be able to expect that what she wants will just happen.

Karl Rove's little whiteboard on Fox News, lol. Like... idk, man. I'm not sure that the strategy of expecting people to know a bunch of Hasan Piker lore AND them caring enough about it to the point that it affects who they vote for is going to work, but okay.

question though: has *anything* in the last 40+ years genuinely gotten *better*?

like, there's *more* stuff, sure, but is any of it *better*?

People keep wondering why Fauci took the fifth, and it’s because anyone with a half-decent lawyer is going to tell you - whether you’re guilty or innocent - to shut the fuck up before you make things worse. Max Miller clearly does not have a good lawyer.

Rep. Max Miller: "When I was reported for child abuse of my daughter for a broken collarbone, my daughter was in my ex-wife's care 9 out of the last 11 days and she took her to the emergency room, which is a contempt violation from our shared parenting plan."
