VRChat enjoyer, runs a VR theater, posts mostly politics. Opinions my own. You lose when you quit fighting.

Glad to say I'm a lead on this project and we're VERY excited to see what it produces! Whether you're a vet leader that wants to share your skills, a budding one wanting to learn, or just want to come see some cool corpo shit, everyone is welcome! #VRChat

Cool things happening in VR! A bunch of community leaders from around VRChat are getting together to share and present their own knowledge on skills and growth as leaders! Everyone is free to join as well as to present their own resources and knowledge too! #VR #VRChat

Republican power grabs in Kansas and Missouri are going down in flames with 18-25% of votes reported so far. Missouri's Amendment 4 aimed to make citizen-initiated constitutional amendments practically impossible. Kansas' Amendment 1 was designed to flip the state Supreme Court to ban abortion

Abdul El Sayed's open-mindedness on the question of how to actually resolve the question of Palestine is one of the best indicators of his overall intelligence and sincerity. Policymakers in DC should adopt a rights-based approach which prioritizes ending the occupation and apartheid systems.

El-Sayed: "I believe in equal rights to peace, dignity, and self-determination, for Palestinians and Jewish Israelis alike... If that’s 2 states, I’m for it. If it’s 1 state, I’m for that. If it’s this 'land for all' model, ... or whatever they decide." www.newyorker.com/news/the-new...

Proud to stand with these three Michigan champions for a politics of solidarity that focuses relentlessly on the needs of working people. All three of them are hustling to turn out voters until the minute polls close tomorrow. (1/3)

Go Vote, Michigan. Abdul El-Sayed for U.S. Senate. Will Lawrence for U.S. House (MI-07). Donavan McKinney for U.S. House (MI-13). Vote Tuesday, August 4!

James Talarico on Texas officially banning THC: “Texans aren’t going to stop smoking weed and eating edibles because politicians in Austin say so. We are now telling full-grown adults how to live their lives. This is the nanny state at its worst; this is big government at its worst."

The damage that this war has done to US hegemony in the Middle East & to the ability of the US to project power in the future against adversaries such as China & Russia is immense. We forced ourselves out of the Gulf The US attack on Iran may yet be akin to Britain’s 1956 Suez fiasco Treasonous

The new reality is that Iran now has control of the Strait & will continue to control it This unprovoked attack for Israel has cost the US enormously: shredded diplomatic credibility & control lost over an essential strategic area, as well as also likely forced the US military out of its Gulf bases

we are talking about covid because their base is pissed and telling pollsters they won’t show up and the racism dial is already turned as far as it can go but they think maybe there’s a little blood to be squeezed still from the fauci stone. that’s it. that’s the only reason we are doing this.

I woke up today with no dm's on Discord. Legit thought my Discord just wasn't loading. This hasn't happened in months. So peaceful.

Guys, the best weapons to protect your neighbors from ICE are NOT GUNS They are CAMERAS, WHISTLES, and a well-organized RAPID RESPONSE AND NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH SYSTEM. ICE is better-armed than you'll ever be. But they like to rely on secrecy, and you can make it much harder for them to be secret.

The immigrant union troops who defended their adopted country from slaver traitors are in fact, proof of concept of American higher ideals having nothing to do with “blood” or “heritage” or whatever cowardly euphemism is in vogue among these pathetic losers

It is funny that this person thinks “immigrants defended the union while native born whites sought to destroy it in the name of slavery” is an argument against immigrants being Americans. This is precisely the point, nothing about being born here makes you better bsky.app/profile/aphc...

Another datapoint for the fascist radicalisation of institutional pillars of much of the American Right

I think we've forgotten just how insane QAnon was for a while. Q believers got a charter school fundraiser shut down because they thought James Comey was going to attack it. They deluged a butterfly sanctuary with death threats. A guy killed a Mafia boss and wrote "Q sent me" on his hand!

Hunter Biden: “As it relates to Donald Trump, fuck him. Fuck his son. Fuck his daughter. I mean it. All of them. The whole family, down to the grandchildren. I hope that, for the rest of time, their names will live in ignominy. They have done the most awful things to my family and to me.”

The *important* thing here is when he says what do you expect me to say about people who have harmed me? The implication is that no one is expected to say nice things when intentionally harmed. Yet Trump calls Chuck Schumer a Palestinian and Schumer says nothing. Nothing?

Reminder that we published an extensive interview with a former editor at The New York Times who laid out, in detail, how the paper's pushing of anti-trans bigotry was both very intentional and directed from the very top of the organization. The NYT plays a direct and major role in trans genocide:
