Driving a car is incredibly dangerous, it should be one of the most regulated experiences on earth, and it is very upsetting to watch people who correctly don’t trust the cops turn against automated enforcement because the alternative is relying on a cop’s judgement to enforce the laws.
How do you write that sentence and not understand that you’re the villain?

This reminds me that I had real number aversion when I first started calculus but got over it pretty quick In college I came back to it and was much more frustrated by them and that's how I became a functional programming enthusiast

The Democratic Party has been set against itself with the MAGA folks hammering on fractures within the coalition to suppress fundraising and put the DNC in the worst position it's ever been in financially for a midterm election. They warmed up on the Libertarian Party, now they're breaking the Dems.
If they can get a movement to fight internally, it loses some amount of capacity to fight externally. Fighting over who controls a state party or over a Twitter post takes away focus from training and recruiting candidates for public office. Distraction is MAGA's game to destroy opposition.
The 2024 and 2026 Libertarian National Conventions both lost money, since they were organized by incompetent Mises Caucus stooges and grifters who couldn't balance a budget or put on a profitable event to save their lives. Pat Ford lost ~$119K on the convention this May. It's a sabotage.
