Hey, L.A. want to take a break from the hellscape that is national politics & do something that could make a real difference locally? You can help Bill AB-2010 get passed. What's AB-2010? It's a bill that expands spay and neuter services to Mobile Animal Sterilization Hospital (MASH) units. 1/4

Here is Graham gloating about "killing all the right people." Just in case you see anyone try to do the whole "we should have decency for the dead" nonsense.

Also, this is a good opportunity to look at Nithya’s record, see what you do and don’t like, and demand accordingly. Her coalition for the general is as fluid as it’s gonna get right now. You want better, you gotta apply the pressure. No one gets a free pass

LOS ANGELES UPDATE: With today's update, Nithya Raman pulls within 7,500 votes of Spencer Pratt. (She netted roughly 13K votes in today's batch of 59K ballots.) This cuts Pratt's lead over Raman (for second spot) from 3.4% to 1.1%. (Note: The city of LA has roughly 175K ballots left.)

JUST IN: With this evening's ballot update in Los Angeles, Nithya Raman nets 3K votes over Spencer Pratt. She cuts her overall deficit from 8.1% to 7.1%. Today's batch: Bass 37%, Raman 30%, Pratt 20%. (OVERALL now: Bass 35%, Pratt 30%, Raman 23%.)

If you’re in LA you’ve got until the 13th to visit Diane Keaton’s estate auction viewing at Bonham’s on Sunset - a lovingly curated display of clothes, furniture, photography, and personal items the family wanted to share with the public. A must see.

I doubt this has happened before: 11 of this weekend's top 15 movies were made independently, inc. 4 of the top 5. There is nothing holding down overall grosses and attendance more than the fact that studios have forgotten how to do what they used to do, which is to fill the pipeline with movies.
