Blood Dungeon has devoured several hours of my day. I was really digging the demo but felt a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure if the build variety/depth of content was going to be enough for me. Glad to say I was wrong. This is one of my favorite roguelike augments I've ever seen

the thing about indie games is that if someone designs one single game I love, I’ll get whatever they make for the rest of their lives and pretty much always have a good time. people are so attached to ip but imo you really gotta know the creators.

An amusing interaction occurs in Super Mario 64 DS if Yoshi brings a Koopa Troopa to the mountain in Bob-omb Battlefield and spits him out on the steep hill. The Koopa will bounce merrily along the hill until he despawns.

I legitimately asked a colleague a programming question once and what I got back from them was a Claude output. And it was the last time I asked them anything or cared about their input. That's how hard thinking for yourself is in 2026 as a developer apparently. You can't make that shit up.

I said this before and I'll say it again: the adoption of AI has done wonders in curing my impostor syndrome. Opinions and judgements of folks you once looked up to become so much less important if they base their decisions on opinions and judgements of a machine.
