evaluated? buddy they keep me in a temperature-controlled vault so they can measure all autism accurately against mine

Daemons of the Shadow Realm episode 1: holy shit these people are evil, just slaughtering random villagers to find one guy by episode 11: oh, damn, not killing the kids too was an incredible act of grace and charity at tremendous risk to herself

the whole thing is offensive and awful but i'm also kind of cracking up at the suggestion that the people who invented Islamic jurisprudence kill their autists. like yeah bro a neurotypical person came up with fiqh, sure

Breaking from Steve Barnes of the TU's Chutzpah Desk: The owners of Taste of Italy posted racist bilge in response to the accidental death of a handicapped child. Now they want your charity.

half a decade of "holy shit i wish i had the free time to play video games again" and then when free time finally comes along, what do i do? sit around and do nothing because i'm too tired.

this is why i enjoy The Saga of Tanya the Evil, which correctly clocks that a neo-Romantic salaryman who longs for death and is obsessed with an imagined version of the past where they would have been cooler is literally just describing Sturm und Drang proto-nazism

But the stories would usually end with the characters returning to the real world, ala Narnia or Ghibli films, with the lessons learned from that life, to better deal with the now. Neo-romanticism is this wish to go through that gate, slam the door, bar it shut: the salaryman is dead.
