Usually doesn’t follow back. Sorry, but what can I say? I want to see the posts of people I follow and I can only read so many.

WE NEED 4 SEATS TO FLIP THE SENATE. JOSH TUREK SHOULD BE ONE OF THEM. I was researching Josh and came across one of his signature issues: Right to Repair. I had no idea how important this was. Most people in big cities probably don’t either. 🧵

Just baffled. He's the antithesis of everything they claim to value. Family values? cheating on 3rd wife while she's pregnant? The warrior? Mr. Bone Spurs? Financially savy? 6 Bankruptcies? Putting his name & image everywhere, using their taxes to build gilded statues and they WORSHIP him. W.T.F?

every single day I am baffled by the fact that this man - this incredibly, astoundingly embarrassing man - is the one half the damn country built a cult of personality around

“Drum Dancer” (1973) by the brilliant Inuk sculptor Karoo Ashevak, who carved figures from stories he heard in his traditional childhood out of weathered old pieces of whalebone left by 19th-century whalers and Inuit ancestors.

A whalebone figurine of a comic and grostesque figure playing a hand drum A closeup face of the firing with many teeth and a gaping mouth

“In the divided city of Mostar, where the scars of war still mark the streets and the river separates more than its shores, five resilient workers continue to open their doors, meeting a transformed community with the same steadfast hospitality that has carried them through years of change.”

This is the documentary in Mostar led by Lamija Hakalović that my daughter is working on. She’s the gaffer, assistant camera, and camera operator. It is a social justice project about the war and aftermath in the divided city. There is a modest Gofundme if you wish to support (just $870 to go).

The Pentagon's failure to disclose strikes that resulted in U.S. casualties is alarming. If our servicemembers are paying the price for this war of choice, the American people have a right to know the full cost.
