A question for #birdsky. Do the breeding hollows in the big gum trees get used by different birds at different times. I've noticed kookaburras in the nearby hollow in the last week, but previously I thought I'd seen sulphur crested cockatoos in there.
The curlews are still out there screaming like women being murdered, and even the kookaburras were kicking up a stink well after sunset. Wonder what the problem is? (Or is it just Spring.)
