2026 book #13: Far Flung by @utunu.bsky.social. Really fun, smart, furry, queer scifi adventure. The book's heart is the strong & fun relationship btw the three main characters; the worldbuilding of two small, interdependent, multispecies colonies hits interesting themes. Looking fwd to the sequel!

Recently finished Far Flung by @utunu.bsky.social and really enjoyed it! The three main characters are so well drawn & their relationships develop in a fun & interesting way. The worlds & colonies in which their multi-species story plays out are well written & play with expectations in ways I liked.

Back from Anthrocon as of 1:30 last night, finally! I wanted to say thank you to all of you who came to my (and others') writing panels, and especially to those of you who expressed appreciation for my books! <3 And to those of you who bought my books, thank you much for your support!

I'll be at AC starting tomorrow! I don't have a table, but there'll be a few books at my wife's table (N19, check out her crochet!). I'm also doing five writing panels (Settings, Dialogues, Characters, Writing Groups, and Science Fiction) where I'll pretend I know what I'm doing. Come say hi!

I just finished reading Far Flung by @utunu.bsky.social. I highly highly recommend it. The main group, Bori, Tuther, Samna is awesome. Samna, the hyena boy, is my fav, totally unbiased tho.
