'The longest ballot paper in British political history is costing four times as much to print than regular ballot papers... The list for the Clacton parliamentary by-election, which was prompted by the resignation of Reform UK leader Nigel Farage, is 90cm (3ft) long.' www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

This also completely undermines any claim the Conservative party are standing robustly against antisemitism wherever it appears. Wrong of Badenoch but also a total own goal - Labour and even Reform will be able to use it to attack her.

I did assume that this was a case of a local organisation having totally lost the plot, but Kemi Badenoch is now forcefully and explicitly defending the selection of a former neo-Nazi with a significant criminal history as a candidate. Crackers and terrifying.

Why won’t the media ignore Farage’s idiotic ideas once they’re found unworkable and just a distraction or a gimmick. No, they keep banging on about a non-event. This isn’t journalism.

The Tory / Reform Uniparty will try to blame Labour for 14 yrs of Tory failure over prisons, creating yet another crisis for Labour to solve The Tories built just 500 additional places in 14 yrs - 36 per year - and Sunak had to free 10,000 prisoners early as a result. (In case they've 'forgotten')

I suspect that whether or not Lowe actually would do any of this given the opportunity is moot, because his highest priority is sticking it to Nigel Farage for snubbing him in 2024. He will implode the entire right wing to ruin that man, will scorch the Earth entire. Spite is an incredible motivator

Rupert Lowe pitches a deal from Restore to Farage's Reform. His conditions are full adoption of Restore's policies on mass deportations" including "millions must go" slogan on legal migrants + his policies on Islam + a referendum on death penalty + the ditching of Rupert Jenrick & Suella Braverman

UK government has invested nothing in AI gigafactories. The EU has set up a dedicated "European AI office" to further its AI goals. The UK has no equivalent, and Burnham dissolving the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) probably hasn't helped. We need to get off our arses.

The European Union will fund seven artificial intelligence gigafactories across the bloc with €10 billion ($11.5 billion), the European Commission said ‌on Thursday, as the EU steps up efforts to clo...

Reform UK Corruption. Why has this detail taken so long to make its way into the news? Shady Fiona Cottrell told bankers the transfers, received 24-72 hours before "her" donations to Reform, came from...her convicted felon son George, Farage's little fraud boy.

Revealed: George Cottrell transferred $2m to his mother days before her donations to Reform UK

Exclusive: Sources say Fiona Cottrell told bankers the transfers, received 24-72 hours before her donations to Reform, came from her son

Burnham’s X-party invite for a social care meeting can’t be attended by Badenoch or Davey. Instead Burnham will be in a room with Tory Shadow Health Secretary Stuart Andrew and a laptop with Davey for half an hour. Predictably, Farage: “remarkable I was not invited”. He’s not even an MP, he resigned
