a really important drum programming lesson i've learned was that velocity does not equal volume. sometimes having full 127 velocity on a ride but then turning it down in the mixer is sonically essential to the mix

hi, I did a bit of direction on the visualizers up on youtube! i mood boarded most of the chapters and they basically all looked like this lol @longiy.bsky.social did an absolute killer job on the final results for episode 4. ALL OF THE ARTISTS DID!!! go and feast your eyes and ears!!!!
