The Irish govt will adopt the UK's stupid social media ban quicker than they'll do anything about a fascist owned social media platform, with its European base in Dublin, spreading sexual abuse material.

The fact that no European country's banned Xitter despite it committing crimes that would be crimes not only in Europe but in the free speech extremist US (child porn & revenge porn manufacturing & distribution) is the reductio ad absurdum of why weakening free speech guarantees never fucking works.

there were already many reasons to do this but Elon Musk actively encouraging racist violence in Belfast should be the final straw for every UK government institution to stop doing business - including being on X - with him in any way, and for him to be barred from entry to the country.
