A lot of chatter lately about AI. I work in education and have tested these tools. Three points: 1. No persistent memory. By Ch. 5 the AI has forgotten Ch. 1. Thus, no coherent plot. 2. AI believes in nothing. No worldview? No character, no voice. 3. Know thyself. #WritingCommunity #WriteSky

When reading #sci-fi, I prefer character-driven over pure action, though I'm lured by tech. What's one interesting technology you've either written or read about? I #amwriting a character who wields a kusarihebi, the name I coined for her whip-sword, based on the Japanese nagamaki. Fun to write.
