Bathrooms: "Gee we should be making sure predators aren't pretending to be trans to get into women's bathrooms and attacking them," realizing this is essentially an urban legend and then dropping it.
99% of the time, when someone accuses you of selective outrage, it’s a way of politically demobilizing you and shutting you up “Why are you angry about data centers instead of fast fashion” isn’t about making you care about fast fashion. It’s about shutting you up about data centers And visa versa
The disappointing thing about the Odyssey movie is that I walked past the cinema and they had a photo up of them dragging the horse from the water and I thought they'd introduced a subplot where the horse is the hollowed carapace of a sea creature but apparently no Disappointing, won't watch

Went for a walk. Brighton is gearing up for pride and the amount of trans flags in particular is cheering to me.
The sword dangling over my head had lowered a touch over night. Still not close enough that I was freaking out but I could sense its movement.
I would like some rain. That would make me so happy right now.

Got diagnosed with ADHD and I think it's ok to be exhausted for a bit because unsurprisingly the process of telling a stranger about my everyday systems and strategies is even more exhausting than my everyday strategies and systems especially when they say "so you totally exhaust yourself with that"
