Millennial AuDHD Space Babe. She/her ace leftist. Live long, smoke weed, rest is revolutionary, speak truth to power, and when we can, prosper

I got so lucky with my regular therapist. She's so sensitive to trauma and tries to push back as gently as possible, engage my problem solving skills and help redirect things like self blame. She really lives the "it's okay not to be okay" philosophy, and it feels so nice just to be met where I'm at

Seems like calling medi - cal is more of hassle than showing up. If anybody would like to help with bus or uber fare, that would be great - I have to see how long and how much walking with the bus. If you’d like to help, it would be appreciated. Also scared of the upcoming heat wave. With no end.

OP in pink plunging neck y2k dress. She is clasping her pink rosaries. Her hair is natural and wavy, her make up frosted.

At the fair there was this adorable "mad tea bookshop bus" this woman had just bought and refurbished a whole bus to look like the Alice in Wonderland tea party and set up a whole little area outside with hanging paper lanterns, cushions and chairs scattered across a large checker patterned mat

The new Nepenthes bag is coming soon! I spent so much time working with the manufacturer on the sample, and now I’m finally happy with it! It will be a perfect bag for our bug friends, and totally safe for them😉 I am expecting the whole batch to be done and available in September! 💚

I sleep with earplugs now and wear the over ear headphones most of the day and still in the moments I have them off I'm jumpscared by upstairs dropping something so fucking loud and heavy it sounds like it's going to crash through the goddamn ceiling. If hell is real she BETTER go there

The SCREEN Act just failed to pass in the Senate Commerce Committee! 🎉 Enormous thanks to the thousands (!!) of you who told your Senators to vote no! Your voice matters and you should feel good that you made a difference. Obviously, the fight isn't over, but this was an important victory.

Okay, my next edition of “Roots Music & Beyond” will air on KPFK 90.7 FM Los Angeles and streaming at kpfk.org this Saturday, August 8, at 8am PDT! I’ll be featuring a mix of music from Louisiana & Ireland, and it’s gonna be awesome. Please tune in! 📻🎶⚜️🇮🇪

Incidentally, I’ve recorded and delivered another Roots Music & Beyond hour-long show for KPFK, this one split between music from Louisiana and Ireland, but due to various scheduling and pledge drive timing issues it won’t air ‘til next month. I’ll let y’all know!

Aaaa there was a raptor booth at the fair 😍😍😍 such pretty birdies!!! Two gorgeous female eagle owls, a hawk and a dark morph buzzard who is inconclusive gender! Nonbinary raptor pride baybeee that's what I'm talking about

I've been thinking about the Odyssey and it does kind of irk me that Nolan didn't cast a blind person as the character he chose to make blind who wasn't in the source material. His treatment of Helen, Penelope, and Sinon kind of bothered me. And some of the scenes went on WAY too long

lol this therapist was surprised that I talk about my trauma. She was like I think you're experiencing the isolation and exclusion of being a minority (disabled), you just aren't in denial about it & talk about it freely whereas other people might not do that stuff. She compared it to her accent lol

Uh on the way to therapy a *disability transport van* was going 30 miles an hour so I passed him and then he sped up and tailgated me and aggressively cut me off in really heavy traffic. And that that's why I'll never ever trust a man to drive anything period. Petty, vengeful, no regard for safety

Pride was fun but it reminded me I'm still insecure about one last thing, my lack of eyebrows. I fill them in but when people comment directly on them and draw attention to them which several people did even tho I thought they looked normal I still feel awful and self conscious.
