Currently, about 12% of EU gas demand and 20% of its LNG is sourced from Russia. Since Israel and the US closed the Straits of Hormuz, EU usage of RU fuels has actually increased. In addition, the EU imports nuclear fuel from RU too. So much for EU sanctions!
