The Boys recording one of the greatest albums of all time — REVOLVER — at Abbey Road in 1966. This seminal album was released 60yrs ago today.
Made some new art of my Dark Matter Skathari boy Kythro! Also made a lovely display of a lot of my 1bit color combos to show em off. These include the names and codes for anyone else who wants to use them. This was time consuming to make but very satisfying! #Pixelart #1bit #DarkMatter #DND

done this before but now can't find it, so... posting this so i can find it again from an old remedy talk. max payne level design scale. his house before and after they realised you can't just build shit at real-life scale and expect it to work as a level. i am always pulling this out for folks
truly the thing that stands out with Doom (and Half Life, and Quake, and Marathon, and--) is that we used to let level designers be bastarding little tricksters in a way that even the Good Level Design shooters of the 2010s onwards forgot
