It's not "climate change." It's "climate destruction." 'Climate Change' completely absolves us, the humans, responsible. WE are enacting terror on the environment through capitalism and colonialism. It's not some concept or natural effect. It is deliberate annihilation of all life for profit.

No Witcher tonight! It's Gencon for some, and work for others, so we will take this week off. The big fight against the not-at-all-state-sponsored bounty hunters will take place next week!

It can be really hard being a disabled streamer because sometimes we go through times where our health gets worse. And we're not as present. And a lot of people take that as a slight against them. Because we're not able to be in their streams or support them as much.

To be clear, I just thought this was funny. I won't extrapolate from dumb tweets to "society is collapsing!" But for the curious it started with some tech bro saying he was reading The Hobbit to his kids, who liked it, and it inspired a lot of comments like this:

Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids Community note notes that it was indeed for children.
