Hot Take: A lot of people are mad about both Doomsday and GTA 6 not because of anything the movie/game itself has, but because they're seen as symbols of corrupt and destructive capitalism (Which isn't totally untrue -- but the backlash would be the same no matter what the end result looked like)
Derek Van Dyke@derekvandyke.bsky.social · 2w agoI think when you've spent years constantly having this meta conversation about the MCU online it can be easy to forget that most people are not sitting around bitching that there wasn't enough buildup to Doom or bringing back Steve Rogers is cringe or whatever. That trailer is gonna hit, for many.
