Workin hard to keep that puppy dog energy and glass half-full vibe
It's weird that a technology built on stealing and lying would go on to steal and lie. I'm shook, the machine must be alive.
I find it hard to balance the risk of being an off-putting AI scold vs giving slop no quarter
Writers/Musicians/Artists told you from Day 1 that this was theft. Straight up. Always has been.
“A senior executive at Microsoft said A.I. systems built on the work of others will be seen as ‘an astonishing theft of unprecedented proportions’ and possibly the greatest robbery of labor in human history, according to court documents unredacted Thursday in an ongoing Manhattan lawsuit.”
This, but for everything you buy. This is the future, and increasingly, the present 😭🔫
Marge: Homer, Mr. Burns called, he said if you don’t come in on Friday, don’t bother coming in Monday. Homer: WOOHOO! Four day weekend!
Question of the day! What is the funniest single line in Simpsons history?
Transgender people deserve to have a nice life. That is the entirety of the argument. If you disagree, you’re saying that you do not believe in liberty or justice for all.
Greeny: "I've seen the cakes" Domonique Foxworth: "Yeah, he's seen the cakes" Steve Smith: "You've seen the cakes?! Oooooh" Greeny: "I don't know what that means"
Since R Kraft is in the news, here’s ex Harvard prez LHS asking JE why Kraft didn’t “use a higher class service” after Kraft was arrested in a prostitution case in 2019
This is really some perfect Sunday morning listenin, I do recommend it
So this dude is wearing a Kitchener Rangers kit, which is a junior ice hockey league team from Ontario with no connection to the NY Rangers whatsoever, that for some reason uses the same exact jersey
Leafs second-rounder Alexander Bilecki is just scratching the surface of his “huge potential.” My feature, with insight from Kitchener, Toronto, and those around him (free to read): www.nytimes.com/athletic/752...
Why do I give a shit if there's a car reported on the shoulder ahead? I'm driving on the highway, not the shoulder. What am I supposed to do with that information?
Two years ago today, Francisco Lindor broke up Bowden Francis' no-hitter as part of Linsanity II.
Thank god we dont have any of those round here
I think it's more comforting for some people to think of OBL as some evil genius or tragic victim of imperialism rather than a bog standard delusional ideologically extremist billionaire failson who thought he could accellerationism his way to a theocratic utopia
i need people to start responding to questions about trans women in sports with "what the hell is wrong with you?? why do you care about this all of a sudden? why do you want to impose insane, invasive rules just to stop some 8th grader from hanging out with her friends after school" at the minimum
Any "compromise" on trans rights is both deeply wrong in itself and lays groundwork for worse. Sports bans? Segregate us from part of public life, establish legal grounds for further discrimination. Healthcare bans for trans kids? More trans kids die and trans healthcare as a whole is endangered.
A great way to provide this for your friends is to just randomly mail them fun stuff that makes you think of them. This way, they get a fun surprise in the mail (a rare treat these days), and every time they wear the shirt or look at the mug, they'll think of you and how much you love them
it's crucial to develop strong associations between something and each of your friends so that you get to go through life constantly reminded of the love and joy that surrounds you. little daily reminders about how much important people in your life have shaped you and how you have shaped them.
