I'm not usually a "there are two kinds of people" person, but there is something to the fact that strangers/bots trying to flatter me makes me immediately suspicious, and clearly a LOT of other people feel the opposite.

I wish newsletter platforms like Beehiiv and Buttondown made discoverability easier *for readers*! As far as I can tell, you need an account to browse their full slate of newsletters, and I've never had beehiiv show up on Google or DDG. Like I WANT to support non-substacks, why won't you let me??!
