you'd have to stop the world just to stop the feeling computer guy 🧑🏼‍💻 24 he/they 🥨

Nice to see Tesla reclaiming from OceanGate the cutting edge of new and embarrassing ways for the very rich to kill themselves.

truly in what world would “he already took me to cleveland. he showed me the heights, so hate all you like. this is the love of my life” be romantic or serious at all like i’m genuinely concerned for their health for thinking this is unironic

The "social contagion" thing drives me screaming angry. When I was young I had no clue trans ppl existed. I'd never met anyone trans. I saw cruel caricatures in pop culture occasionally. When I realized trans was a thing someone could be, it hit like a lightning bolt. My life felt newly possible.

There’s something to be said for how most of the political spectrum can unite around hounding some lesbians over niche drama in their spaces but huge segments of society are silent about pervasive campus rape impacting a huge population of primarily youngwomen

I’m genuinely worried that he weakened her civil case with this statement out of petty fury that he’s rightfully getting heat for not pressing charges against rapists. He clearly isn’t interested in seeing her succeed and he basically called her a liar—a huge gift to the civil defense

Please don't give the DA reopening the Cornell case any cookies. District Attorney Matthew Van Houten all but called Jane Doe a liar today. He said that in Doe's initial statement, she described "her participation in drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious, and consensual.” CONSENSUAL

the horrific cornell gang rape case has me thinking about emma sulkowicz who alleged she was raped as a student at columbia in 2014 and never got any justice. it has me thinking about the physical and mental weight young women are forced to carry while their safety is subsumed by male potential.

Emma Sulkowicz carrying around a mattress on the Columbia campus in 2014 to raise awareness of her alleged rape and the university's inaction.
