Feeling somewhat better having watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I'm not as much of a Trek Guy as my older sibling used to be; we had tapes of all six of the TOS movies, and they watched every single one. I never made it through a whole one back in the day. This is the start of me fixing that.

SCREEN Act, which would have required mandatory age-verification for sites (like this) that allow "material harmful to minors" failed to pass out of committee after thousands and thousands of people called their Senators. More work ahead!

This has been studied quite a bit, the solar panels create a sort of greenhouse effect for the plants underneath them while also generating energy which feels like it should be cheating but is real and literally only has upsides.
