I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

Ronald Reagan ignored the AIDS crisis—and his “dear friend” from Hollywood, Rock Hudson, who asked for help. Dr. Fauci jumped in and helped. Guess which guy the homophobic ghouls in the Republican Party revere today.
The GOP is desperately trying to rewrite history, but just a reminder that Donald Trump was president during the lockdowns, and he awarded Fauci a presidential commendation for his work on COVID. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Heads up: Taylor Farms lettuce is sold under these brand names: Marketside (sold at Walmart) Earthbound Farm (owned by Taylor Farms) Cross Valley Farms (owned by US Foods) Private labels for Target, Whole Foods (365), and Amazon Fresh. AVOID ALL OF THEM
Listen to the Telemundo audio, which didn’t digitally filter out the boos like Faux did.
It’s your right and your obligation to call out corruption and abuse.
I couldn't understand why the FBI was investigating Lindsey Graham's death—in the absence of any suspicious toxicology report in the autopsy—until I realized it gave Trump and his lawyer Kash Patel an excuse to enter Graham's house and remove potentially incriminating documents

As Americans struggle with the cost of rent or mortgage payments, the president has a message for you: buzz off. He’s not interested. He made two billion off the presidency last year, and he couldn't care less about the hardships of ordinary people.
Five facts that you should know about the current Cyclospora outbreak.
The difference between being welcomed as a leader and tolerated as a liability.
We just hit a harrowing milestone. There are now 1,000 hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics that have closed or are on the verge of closing since Republicans gutted Medicaid and the ACA to fund tax cuts the wealthy. Billionaires over patients. With deadly consequences.
Before anyone drafts a sympathy card, roll the tape. There's McConnell on Hannity, beaming like a man showing off vacation photos and taking a victory lap for the judicial vacancies he created by blockading a sitting president's nominees.
Belgium’s overwhelming defeat makes it hard for Trump to lie the match was rigged. A lesson for us midterm voters.
They say it’s “routine maintenance” and that they’re painting the columns. I’m betting they’re going to demo them and swap to the “orante” style Trump likes. They haven’t followed any of the other rules, why start now?

Heinrich Himmler: "If we lose the war, the Allies will turn every committee of the occupation into an investigative body. They will go after the Reich leadership, the cabinet, the donors, and friends."
Ossoff: "Mike Collins is a bigot and antisemite under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars, widely known as a man of poor character who lacks the judgment and integrity to serve in the Senate."
Maybe Vance doesn't know this part of history because it's in one of the books his administration has banned. The difference between the Watergate era and now is that back then, Republicans actually did something about a law-breaking president. Today, they only roll over for their cult leader.
“We do a Watergate twice a day” is a crazy way to confess your own corruption…
JD Vance: "I think Nixon's historical legacy is enjoying a bit of a renaissance, and deservedly so. I joked that if Watergate happened tomorrow, it would be like a 12 hours news story. The idea that it took down a presidency is crazy."
New AARP poll shows Sherrod Brown (D-OH) with three point lead in his race against Sen. Jon Husted (R-OH) I asked Brown why he thinks he's leading .. and where the Ohio voters are shifting.....
Pete Buttigieg says his family was effectively swatted — except, instead of calling the cops, someone called Child Protective Services, lied and said Buttigieg had admitted to 'committing unspeakably violent crimes' and that his kids were at risk. The kids are not and were not at risk.

This is absolutely fucking outrageous. 🤬🤬🤬 "Now imagine the same concept, but with Child Protective Services instead of a SWAT team. Hadn’t thought of that? Me neither, until a few days ago when a police officer and a CPS worker showed up at our home and politely asked to speak with me."

The founders, in the Treaty of Tripoli -- begun under Washington, signed by Adams, ratified by a Senate filled with other crafters of the Constitution -- said "the Government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion." Tom Emmer is a dumb-as-dirt bigot.
