Wow! If you look closely, you'll notice they've kept and updated the original Mario easter egg in the Ocarina of Time remake
This is clearly a remake meant for people who started the series with BOTW or will start with watching the movie and I suspect most of the people annoyed by it will be in their late 30s or early 40s.
Gotta love how after all these years Zelda still manages to annoy people with its art direction
I do hate that everyone is like โwow the oot remake looks like genAIโ like you can just say it looks bad without pissing and shitting on a bunch of actual devs and artists
Toei gotta be the most confusing company of all time. They want to expand beyond Japan yet they do this to their first simulcasted show and now they're doing a limited release format for their newest show, My-Th. You can't cultivate a new audience by nuking episodes whenever you feel like it.

That Maneater 2 announcement has me thinking about how we just don't get contained sandbox games anymore, and it bums me out I could really go for an Infamous, or an Assassin's Creed 2, or a Stubbs The Zombie, or a Destroy All Humans, or a Tony Hawk, or- you know what we made before openworld slop?

This update fixes the missing accessory slot with amiibo bug and the audio balance in battles. It also fixes some other issues, such as a bug where switching from Pyra to Mythra softlocks the game.

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.
